Tivù is the new Italian digital TV service, includes card and digital set-top box
Most people only sell these un-activated. The installer (or end user) will need to activate them online. To do this they need a cordico fiscale (Italian national insurance number) and an Italian address which pays the TV license.
However, this receiver is pre-registered so there will be no need to organise an Italian address & NI Number!
