Ubiquiti PrismStation AC is Ubiquiti Networks latest generation of airMAX AC sectors with dedicated Wi-Fi management and built in radio. The PS-5AC is specially designed for cluster installations where low side lobe radiation and low back radiation are key. The PrismStation features active Prism RF filtering to further reduce interference with needing communication between radios and despite noise from other vendors'radios.
Using airMAX AC technology, the PrismStation 5AC supports up to 500+ Mbps real TCP/IP throughput. It also offers the following features:
Interchangeable horn antennas for enhanced beam shaping.
Horn feed comes directly from the radio input/output so connectors are eliminated.
Single button release for ease of changing antennas.
All metal, shielded radio base.
Mounting Bracket and Pole Clamp for quick mounting and up to 20 degrees of adjustment.
Ubiquiti offer four optional antennas with precise radiation angles for specific beam shaping, so you can customise the PrismStation 5AC for your specific installation requirements:
30 Degrees HORN-5-30
45 Degrees HORN-5-45
60 Degrees HORN-5-60
90 Degrees HORN-5-90
Improved Noise Immunity:The PrismStation 5AC directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth using an interchangeable isolation antenna horn, available in both symmetrical and asymmetrical designs. With the focus in one direction, the PrismStation 5AC blocks or spatially filters out noise, so noise immunity is improved. his feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.
Modular Design: With flexible sectorisation for optional antenna beam-widths, the horn antenna is interchangeable and improves beam-shaping for specific deployment and environment needs. The PrismStation 5AC uses horn antenna sectors designed for increased co-location performance without sacrificing gain.
Scalability: Symmetrical horn antennas (30 and 45 Degree versions) offer breakthrough scalability options for wireless systems. They are ideal for cluster sector installations with high co-location requirements. Unique beam performance and great co-location characteristics allow for a higher density of sectors than traditional sector technology.
Enhanced Co-Location: Asymmetrical horn antennas (60 and 90 Degree versions) are designed to have attenuated side lobes and extremely low back radiation.
