This Micro Drop Installation Cable CPR Class Dca LSNH (MDIC Dca) is a special access cable with low bend radius, zero waterpeak G.657.A1 fibres. It has a ruggedized construction with non-metallic strength elements situated either side of 2 central fibres, and a net weight of 10kg/km.
Extruded with a double-sided rip seam, MDIC is easy to strip which improves installation performance and efficiency. Typically used in FTTx installations, MDIC is suitable for internal/external, drop, patch, or duct applications.
