The Lightwave 3-Gang Smart Relay allows for the remote control of three separate mains electrical circuits (max 3500W total load). As a result, each circuit can be controlled independently via the Lightwave App, and become part of a wider Lightwave smart home automation system. Each circuit of this relay can also be voice-controlled using Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant & Siri through the Apple HomeKit platform.
The 3-Gang Smart Relay is a very useful way of controlling LED strip lighting. This can act as part of a wider lighting scene in conjuction with Lightwave Smart Dimmers and Sockets which can be triggered by a single button press, from the App, or by voice - 'Alexa, it's dinner time...' This Smart Relay can also be situated outdoors by using the Lightwave LW823 Waterproof Housing. This allows wireless control of garden features such as pathway lighting, water features or pond pumps. With a total load of 3500W, this Smart Relay presents an ideal solution for energy hungry appliances, and commercial or industrial sized loads. This Smart Relay also reports energy consumption from each individual gang, which can be viewed graphically in the App as daily and hourly consumption reports
Two-way communication allows stateful, bi-directional conversation between the Link Plus hub and every Lightwave device within a property. Performance and reliability is assured by Lightwave’s proprietary 868MHz RF protocol which out-performs normal WiFi and offers superior range with less interference.
