The SCR Smart Splitter enables customers to watch Sky+ HD in the main room and a further multiroom box anywhere in the property - previously not possible from a single feed coming into the home! It is used in conjunction with the SCR multiswitches.
Standard splitters can give collisions when two commands come in at the same time, or when one of the set-top boxes uses a permanent high voltage. This smart splitter captures the commands of the different set-top boxes and serializes them to guarantee no collisions happen.
The unit can be mounted to either the inside of a communal cabinet or onto the faceplate inside a customers property.
Connect upto 3 x SCR Satellite Receivers in an apartment when only 1 input cable is available:
