This latest addition to the Fracarro fibre optic range; the new “remote powered” optical transmitter, adds and enhances the abilities of an already highly respected solution to fibre IRS.
Utilising signals from a standard IRS quattro LNB, the signals are able to be maximised prior to conversion into fibre. Whether this means filtering and balancing at the dish, peaking signals with the use of a conventional satellite meter, or re-launching a signal from the bottom of a riser over fibre, the Fracarro OPT-TX range offers a flexible solution.
Offers quattro coax input and output points ensuring that no additional conversion back is required at local trunk line.
This new remote powered version offers additional flexibility by allowing the transmitter to be located in a primary location with little regard for power. The unit can therefore be housed close to the dish in a suitable IP rated box, with the PSU located up to 50m away, delivering power via a standard F connector coax cable. This 1310nm laser offers an output power of 7dBm and a split ratio of 1:64.Utilises SC/APC connections
