This simple coupler is an ideal tool to convert an FC (PC/UPC) lead straight to an SC/APC. Use one at each end of the cable if necessary. Perfect for use with Global FC cables, when used with alternate SC/APC fibre products. FC female input and SC/APC male output.
With the industry moving more and more towards a standardised SC/APC format, most brands have now converted to this Fracarro, Televes, Triax and Whyte all use SC/APC. This coupler allows you to continue to use the steel armour Global FC leads.
An alternate method to this would be to use an FC - FC barrell coupler (F700253) and an FC to SC/APC patch lead (BFL-FCU-SCA-3A2-1).
